Are you prepared for the coming of the Lord?

The Bite: Luke 3:1-38

The Digest:

• God speaks to us in the wilderness

• God prepares us in the wilderness

• God uses us after the wilderness

• Baptism is after salvation. It's your first testimony showing others that you have repented and turned to the Lord Matt 3:6 when they confessed their sin he baptized them

• Baptism is not some holy water. It is the symbolism of you dying to your own life and being raised to a new life with Christ. Have you followed the Lord in believers' baptism?

• Are you prepared for the Lord's second coming?

• Clear the road for him? What things do you need to clear out of your life?

• Are you expecting the Messiah?

• Repentance and fruit are necessary in your life with Christ. Check your heart attitude and posture. What does the fruit you have revealed about you?

• Are you part of the chaff or the wheat?

• Calling out sin is an offense to the unbeliever. They jump right to "you judging me" so don't be surprised when that happens.

• It's never too late to serve God.

• Is the Lord pleased with your lifestyle?
