In this episode of Red Man Laughing we take you to Saskatoon, SK for our stop on the Red Man Laughing tour. We were so grateful to have such an incredible audience come out and support the show in Saskatoon and you can tell the difference in the spirits of the performers.
In this episode we have TWO special guests that join us for featured chats - we feature Cree playwright Ken Williams & Cree gigmaster John Noon. With Ken we talk about the politics of writing for the Theatre and whether he feels Canada (and ourselves) is ready to hear our stories. With John, we talk about his time as a singer and why he feels outreach and understanding is integral to a way forward in this country.
Also, inn this episode, we continue to riff on the "beauty of Nick Sherman", Leonard's "Elder Sumner" character comes out in full effect, Conway K. goes deep on his healing journey and I embarrass myself by trying to rap.
As always, thanks for listening. Make sure you subscribe to the podcast to get new episodes send directly to your RSS Reader, Email or iTunes.
