Red River Rivalry special episode #3 with JaMarkus McFarland

McFarland, a Lufkin, TX native grew up loving the Texas Longhorns and was a highly recruited defensive tackle who ended up signing with the Oklahoma Sooners and played for Bob Stoops.

JaMarkus played at a high level in the Red River Rivalry during his days as a Sooner..

He has fond memories of those Saturdays in October inside of the Cotton Bowl Stadium.

After a stint playing professionally, McFarland entered the world of coaching football and is currently the assistant head coach for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks in Nacogdoches, TX.
