Red River Rivalry special episode #5 with Tom Campbell
The son of Darrell K. Royal's defensive coordinator, Mike Campbell, Tom played a significant role in UT's 1969 national championship.
He has fond memories of playing the Oklahoma Sooners at The Cotton Bowl Stadium. Campbell said there wasn't horns down and "Texas Sucks" comments. There was mutual respect between the two college football powers.
