As a film enthusiast, I had been eagerly anticipating the release of "Red Rocket" ever since it made waves at the Cannes Film Festival. Directed by Sean Baker, known for his previous acclaimed works such as "Tangerine" and "The Florida Project," I knew that I was in for a treat. And indeed, "Red Rocket" did not disappoint. The film follows the story of Mikey Saber (played brilliantly by Simon Rex), a washed-up porn star who returns to his small hometown in Texas after his career in Los Angeles comes crashing down.
