Unpopular opinion: Having more is having less; less time and energy for what you were called to do--live simply and freely.

Benefits of minimalism:

☞ Tidying up a room is easier because the less you have the less you have to clean up

☞ Laundry days are a breeze

☞ You save money over time

☞ Your home looks put together and has aesthetic

☞ It can improve your sense of well-being

☞ You begin to live out Philippians 4:11--learning to be content with what you have, thereby increasing your self-satisfaction

☞ You can focus more on your hobbies, spouse, and children

⤻ Tip: Better quality possessions should make it easier to decrease your items' quantity. Let this be your focal point when deciding what to buy, keep, or toss.

How to determine if you need rest:

🌱 You're extremely tired all the time, lacking the energy to carry on

🌱 You're irritated, aggravated, and/or stressed out way too often

🌱 Your prayer life is lifeless

🌱 You feel disconnected from God

🌱 You've fallen back into your old ways and bad habits

🌱 You're feeling depressed and anxious

These are just to name a few, but feel free to expand this list and see where you fit! Rest may be what you've been needing for a while and you didn't know it.
