There is so much work to do. We fumble and fail. We look into the mirror and cry out, Why me? The Lord then directs us to get our face out of the mirror of my our heart. He tells us to fix our gaze on his Holy Word.

God’s Word enters the scene and lifts the curtain on our drama. God did just that with the prophet Zechariah. Things weren’t looking very good. Then Zechariah received a vision of a man with a measuring line in his hand. We find out that God had a holy construction project under way that no one knew about. That has got to change. God wants his people to be aware that he himself is at work in our hearts. We are his holy construction project.
