Is Easter a pagan holiday? Should Christians even be celebrating Easter? If Easter is about the resurrection of Jesus, why is there a rabbit and what’s with the eggs? Should the church have egg hunts? Should the church use the word “Easter?” What’s more, the entire subject brings with it a lot of other questions. If Easter has pagan roots, why does the church celebrate it? Should the church be touching anything that is pagan in origin? When did this idea of taking pagan symbols and using them for Christian purposes begin? Is this a biblical position or is this an example of the church going astray?
