Jeanie is joined by accomplished senior leader, Anthony Casablanca in today’s episode! Anthony has over 30 years in various leadership roles and he has been studying the art of leadership and change and with an emphasis on purpose-driven leadership principles. In this conversation, Anthony unpacks his philosophy, his approach to grief and change within organizations and how we operate. He characterizes its relationship to everything. How we lead, how we make decisions, and how we live. Anthony earned his undergraduate degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and a master’s degree from Kettering University (formerly GMI). He spent most of his years in leadership working for Batesville Casket Company, a recognized leader in the funeral service industry. Anthony has spent his entire career studying the art of leadership with an emphasis on purpose-driven leadership principles. He’s spoken on several occasions at various funeral industry conventions, was a featured speaker at an international sales, service, and operations meeting for Batesville Casket Company, and has led cultural transformations and conducted leadership training classes helping leaders to prepare for and navigate change. After retiring from Hillenbrand Inc., Anthony began consulting to help organizations and leaders discover their true purpose. He recently co-wrote “The Dying Art of Leadership”, a practical guide to tackling one of the most awkward leadership challenges-one that no one likes talking about and isn't taught in any other leadership programs-to for the benefit of the employees and the company.
