In this liberating teaching on “Redemption (Book of Colossians)”, Apostle Sydney Quaye explains redemption as a legal, finished transaction in which God has bought us back from five enemies: sin, Satan, the law, the curse of the law, and the old empty manner of life. Through the blood of Jesus, we are no longer under ancestral sins, family altars, or “father’s house” powers—we have been fully redeemed, forgiven, and delivered.
Walking through Colossians 1–3, he shows that in Christ we are now qualified, partakers of the inheritance, holy, unblameable, unreprovable, indwelt by God, complete in Him, and called to boldly say, “I am the redeemed of the Lord.” Christ has disarmed principalities and powers, stripped them of authority, and made them a public spectacle; they are prisoners, not masters. Our response is to renew our minds, refuse fear, and live freely—growing, building, and reigning in life because Christ is our life.
