Not everything goes right the first time around. In fact, you can probably remember a few times when things went catastrophically wrong. We mess up everything from the relationships we enjoy to our situations at work or school. 
It's a true blessing when we get a second chance to try again and make things right.
We think of redemption as the process of making something right, whether fixing a past mistake or failure or finding a way to make amends for an action that hurt someone we love. We do this by making the best of a second chance.
Second chances are opportunities that present themselves in our lives. They're specifically targeted at being able to take on something in our past that we felt wasn't 'right' in some way
