Mary Prather is our first podcast guest! Mary is the founder of Homegrown Learners. She has been married for 24 years with two children who both went through homeschooling programs.

 

Mary is a former public school teacher with a master's degree in Educational Leadership & supervision with a career devoted to public schools.

 

Her journey out of public school into homeschooling taught her a lot about how children learn. She has rediscovered her goals for her children and shifted her perspective on what education really means.
