We hear from House Minority Leader Nic Kipke as the General Assembly session passes the half-way point. We delve into some of the legislation making way through the Assembly, including some attempts to thwart the efforts of Gov. Larry Hogan. Transportation funding may be determined by a formula. Gov. Hogan puts over 3 billion dollars into the Purple Line, and marshals his supporters to nudge legislative leaders to support his redistricting plan. There is a hoopla over hospital funding, and Physician-Assisted Suicide may be dead for this session. We hear about gun-bill day in the House & Senate, and Monday's annual March for Life. There's a proposal to help commuters who use the Key Bridge. Capital punishment may be coming back, at least for those who kill cops. Mandatory paid leave may be coming to the state, and we get a campaign update from Sam Faddis. Maryland GOP Committeeman Louis Pope talks about Super Tuesday, and we hear some clips from former Pennsylvania governor Tom Corbett's speech to Anne Arundel Republicans.
