I can’t remember exactly how I became aware of film editor and freelance filmmaker Nathaniel Ramirez and “The Motorcycle Archives” but I have a suspicion our paths crossed somewhere on Instagram, most likely viewing a post by the creator of the podcast “This Motorcycle Life”, Bruce Philp. Nathaniel and I are both fans of “This Motorcycle Life”, and after viewing Nathaniel’s YouTube channel and listening to his own podcast, I had a feeling we would have a very “This Motorcycle Life-esque” conversation when we sat down and recorded the interview for this episode.

Tom Gould reached out to me in late February, expressing an interest in being a guest on the podcast. At that time, he and girlfriend Lauren were in Guinea, on the west coast of Africa, heading south.
