Dedicated to Fathers who have past and simply Fathers figuring out fatherhood. My Dad Lou was the man. He enjoyed British chicks when they were considered exotic and is the only person I know besides the Libyan students I work with, who has been to Libya. I hope to pay homage someday.

For those of you who know and those that now do, my father passed on this morning. It's been a hard week since his fathers day surgery.

A day originally filled with excitement, quickly turned tragic. The week was then filled with hope and optimism from the doctors, which I am quick to latch on to.

Despite all this, deep inside my father no longer wanted to fight. Optimism of hearing, 'hey Gregory' one last time has now passed but I was thankful to be next to him to say 'goodbye Dad' one last time.

Time is precious, no matter who you hold close. I was fortunate to have a father who stood with me under any circumstance. Music was always present. I never quite sold him on my sounds. However,
