Banyana Banyana are in action on Wednesday evening when they take on the Democratic Republic of Congo in the first leg of their Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier in Kinshasa.

South Africa will be without long-time coach Desiree Ellis, after she declined to sign the four-year contract extension that the South African Football Association (SAFA) said had been offered to her.

The pressure is on Banyana to deliver on Wednesday night, and captain Refiloe Jane said the team just needs to find their rhythm on the pitch.
