We’ve covered 7 episodes about the history of madness in the West from prehistory to the year 2000. This week, we’re decompressing a little and talking about what we’ve learned before getting into other issues in more depth. After this we'll take a two week break before returning with all new episodes!
EDIT: Since recording this episode we've learned a lot more about the modern anti-psychiatry and the psych abolitionist movement. There is a lot of diversity of thought among these movements and are largely led by survivors of the psychiatric system. We encourage you to look into these movements and work to better understand them alongside us.
