In spring 1976, I set out to become a bass player and recording artist. It was a decision I made just weeks after my little brother tragically lost his life.

I never once thought it would take me over four decades to achieve my goal! And while achieving it was joyous and celebratory, as it was unfolding in realtime, the reality of what I had accomplished didn't hit me until twenty-four hours later, when I emotionally broke down!
