While Juneteenth is two weeks away, a calendar of events is already unfolding to celebrate this year’s holiday.

Juneteeth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans after the Civil War - and in this city, the Unity Group of Chattanooga is among the organizers of local celebrations.
