Welcome back to the JIS Podcast, with our hosts Middle School Vocal Music Teacher Morgan Banino and PIE Digital Literacy Coach Mindy Slaughter! In this episode, the first of what will be a series of conversations with JIS Alumni, Morgan and Mindy welcome JIS Class of 1997 graduate Derice  Sumantri. She is currently the President Director of Progress Healthcare, a JIS Board of Trustees (BOT) member, and a frequent service volunteer. Listen along as she reflects on how JIS’s values, her frequent involvement in varsity sports, and the school’s multicultural environment left a lasting impression on how she approached university life and then her career. Today, as both a parent and a business owner, she tells us why she is drawn back to Indonesia, especially its healthcare industry, and our Dragon community.
