It's now the end of the week after the weekend before. The legs and knees have recovered and the feet are almost back to their normal size. So what did I learn at my first ultra marathon and one that took place in the centre of London on a 400m track?

Turns out quite a bit really and revealed a whole lot about managing my mental state and grabbing hold of the joy that taking part in these long events can bring.
