She looks back at her conversations with: Thando Makhubu who owns an ice cream shop based out of Soweto Johannesburg, called Soweto creamery. Thando and his business gained popularity when in February 2022, South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa mentioned him in his State of the Nation Address. Khuliswa Mazizi, the owner and operator of Kusta's Kitchen. She left her job in procurement at the South Africa Bureau of Standards to manufacture and bottle sauce, as she had noticed how much of a difference sauce could make on a meal and how you enjoy it.

Reflecting on some of the foundational lessons from Season 1, Amanda highlights strengths and character traits exhibited by these two individuals that other entrepreneurs can learn and get inspiration from.
