In our distracted world, it's easy for our focus to drift from what's most important. This “Refocus" series examines how God calls us to continually set our eyes on Jesus and His kingdom priorities. Using biblical imagery of "seeing” and "fixing our eyes," we’ll explore the need as Christians to intentionally develop habits of focus, just as athletes train to stay centered. By learning to identify and combat distractions that would shift our gaze, we can realign our minds, hearts, and lives with Christ's purposes.
In this episode entitled “Laser Focus on Christ," we kick off the series by looking at how the writer of Hebrews uses the metaphor of running a race to describe keeping our focus fixed on Jesus in our daily walk of faith. We'll discuss how treating life like a marathon can help us block distractions and pursue Christ with perseverance to the finish line.
