The faculty of RBC gathered in chapel to encourage students through the challenges of the semester, addressing discouragement, productivity, Christian community, and enduring faithfulness in the Christian life.

Dr. John Tweeddale preaches from Ephesians 4:1–7, focusing on how Christ, by His Spirit, unites the church and shapes a Christian community marked by humility, patience, gentleness, and love.

Teaching from Romans 6:1–14, Dr. Matthew Dudreck examines how believers are united to Christ and called to live in the freedom of grace rather than the dominion of sin.

In this chapel message, Rev. Grant R. Castleberry expounds Genesis 2:18–25 to unfold God’s design for marriage before the fall, tracing the creation of man and woman and the covenantal union that joins them as one flesh.

Dr. Ben Shaw teaches from Ezekiel 1:1–3, reflecting on how Ezekiel’s unexpected exile reveals God’s providential leading in the lives of His people. He traces how Ezekiel’s disrupted priestly hopes became the setting for God’s overwhelming call and sustaining presence.

Rev. Cody Wilbanks explores wisdom for friendship from Proverbs 20:6, considering the influence of companions, the marks of a faithful friend, and the comfort found in Christ as our greatest friend.

In this message from Matthew 6:25–34, Dr. John Tweeddale reflects on the pressures of ordinary anxiety and shows how Jesus redirects His people to seek the kingdom above all else. He highlights the Father’s attentive provision for His children and the freedom found in trusting Him for each day.

Dr. Stephen Nichols, president of Reformation Bible College, explores Ephesians 5:15–21 and Colossians 3:15–17 to consider how peace, Scripture, daily faithfulness, and gratitude form the biblical pattern for discerning God’s will.

In this first chapel message of the semester, Dr. Derek Thomas explores the healing at Bethesda in John 5:1–17, highlighting the hopelessness of the invalid’s condition and the power of Christ’s command that restores him.

Speaking from Matthew 9:35–38, Rev. Cody Wilbanks calls Christians to see the world through the compassionate eyes of Christ and to pray for workers to gather the plentiful harvest.
