Proper 11, Pastor Corey preaches on how it is that we tend to allow the dominant perspectives of our society to shape how we read Scripture and how it is only through reframing the story and reading the text as it is presented that we can come to see it for what it is. He does this through the story of David and Bathsheba and how we've allowed it to be twisted away from a story about sexual assault and an abuse of power into one of the sinfulness of adultery.
