It’s been 15 years, Berlin resident Philipp Maier aka Santé has gained his merits within the music business. Enough time to assume some hints of ‘been there, done that’-attitude. The opposite is true. Despite his countless releases on Souvenir, Bouq, Rekids, 8 Bit, Cocoon and whatnot, despite a fully booked tour-schedule and shows bringing his DJ- and live-sets to almost every corner of the world and despite his renowned producer-skills, making him the engineer for Tiefschwarz’ last record, you wouldn’t ever get the impression this guy would rest on his laurels for even one minute. In fact, he’s as hungry and interested as he was when starting off. Hungry for advancement, cooperation with other artists and – most definitely – the ecstasy of playing shows. Interested in transforming his own musical horizon, reaching way beyond House- and Techno, into new releases.

With Avotre, there’s a new framework for all of this. Calling it just a label would fall short. So let’s call it a brand for now. A brand that’s always worth a toast. So – Avotre Santé
