Welcome to the Refresh Point! A Weiss Schwarz podcast to chat about the latest news, sets, competitive events, meta shifts, and all kinds of decks, meta or not. In this episode, the duo does a post worlds catch-up. This episode was heavily delayed, so apologies.Corrections: Ben says that the Curren 3/2 from Umamusume has a check 3 effect on play, but it’s a check X, X being your own characters. It actually lends to his argument that you could get to 2 burn 2’s via resolving the first burn 2 and then finding your other 2 events with check 15 cards given a full board, or (not mentioned during podcast) if you burn 2 before a deck out, and then use the checking to draw into the events you already played from memory and then playing them again. This is certainly “shower thoughts after the argument has already happened” levels of hindsight and pettiness, but I do write up the video descriptions 🙂.PS: We’re about to record the followup, and our opinions have already diverged from this episode in terms of trios power levels somewhat haha.
