The month of June represents Refugee Awareness Month and World Mission has a very active ministry to these precious people!  Reaching refugees represents one of the great unprecedented opportunities for the Body of Christ.  Since 68 million people are affected, we must have a strategy to show the love of Christ. A balance between humanitarian response and a loving gospel witness should be our goal.  Before Jesus told us to 'go' he told us to 'wait'!  That is to wait upon the Holy Spirit which gives us the ability to carry out the Great Commission.  We need the Holy Spirit to help us love refugees in places like Congo, Lebanon, Somalia, Nigeria, and Bangladesh.  Today we discussed examples of how World Mission is doing just that and how you can be a vital part!
