The three-month-old government of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is under increasing pressure from refugees in Australia to fulfil its commitment to grant them permanent protection visas that would enable them to work, study, and lead more normal lives. On Tuesday, over a thousand activists, campaigners, and pro-refugees gathered at Parliament House to make their case.
