Jeremiah 26:8-15

The people of Jerusalem didn't want to change. They didn't like Jeremiah's message from the Lord telling them to reform their ways. And so they took out their frustration on God's messenger. We have plenty of old sinful ways we don't want to change either. God gives us constructive criticism in his law to turn us to him. But we still have a hard time letting go and making the necessary changes. We're going to need God to change us. He does.
