Meet Yvonne Michele:

Mum, businesswoman, singer, author, therapist, hairstylist…. SURVIVOR.

Yvonne’s world changed on Mother’s Day at just 11 years old, with her mother’s untimely passing. Whilst in the midst of her intense grief, three days later, Yvonne suffered more pain and trauma when she was abused.

What followed many years after was heartbreak, homelessness, no protection, guidance or accountability.

Caught You In A Lie is Yvonne’s one-woman national show based on her book Permission To Speak. Granted, which tells Yvonne’s story of her experiences and how she was expected to remain silent. Forever.

Yvonne is now working with authorities to make sure all victims are heard.
