My nursing coach told me to go for it and I trusted her advice... 

She knew I was financially set to leave my full-time job. 

She knew that I had the strategies to make it happen. 

She knew that I had a deep passion for Functional/Holistic Medicine and knew that my nurse coach programs were where my passion lies.  

But, what she didn't know, was that I would wake up the next morning with a feeling of deep regret like I had just gone through a bad breakup. 

Have you ever wondered why you can dream about something for years, but yet, still just can't seem to make it happen? That fear can lead to stopping yourself from living the Value-Based life you were called to live. That fear stopped me for years, back when I was a nursing health coach and it almost stopped me again when I decided to go for becoming a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner.

We often sell ourselves short and feel that we have to rely upon others to make our future "secure". We feel that we need an employer to make our future secure when in reality the only physical people in this world who have us and our family's best interest in mind are us. 

Once I really got clear on how my choices today are setting up my life for tomorrow, I get serious about living a value-based life where the decisions I made were literally based upon those values. That's when I started to really get fired up. That's when I went back to remembering where I started in my journey to becoming an NP... I actually dreamt of being a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner-I just didn't know that's what it was at the time.
