After struggling as a starving artist, Mark used his first script payments in 2000 to buy a duplex in Los Angeles as a hedge against the uncertainties of an entertainment career. Real estate became a passionate side-hustle, and since then, Mark has built a $140 million multifamily portfolio alongside his writing career, and founded Quantum Capital, which syndicates in Austin, TX, Los Angeles, Denver and Phoenix
