Reid Templeton - original Tobasco Donkeys member and co-author of BSA Topping Out Climbing/Rappelling Manual. Reid deems Philmont as "the gateway job" to careers in leadership and outdoor education.  His career today as a leadership, team, and organizational development consultant is rooted in the leadership opportunities he gained from Scouting.

2018 - Returned to Philmont to replace technical climbing hardware and check systems/rock quality - bolts/chains etc. add a bolted multi pitch climbing route and long technical rappel around the Miners Park climbing area.
