In the fallout of Triple H winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2016's Royal Rumble match, Stephanie McMahon announced that Roman Reigns would face Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar at FastLane, with the winner going on to face Triple H for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 32.
