About Angus:
Sir Angus Stewart Deaton FBA (born October 19, 1945) is a British-American economist and academic. He is a Senior Scholar and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of Economics and International Affairs Emeritus at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, as well as the Economics Department at Princeton University. Deaton's research primarily explores issues related to poverty, inequality, health, wellbeing, and economic development.
In 2015, he received the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his analysis of consumption, poverty, and welfare.
