After her youngest child left for tertiary studies this year, it was time for Reina to focus on herself and prioritize her well-being. Over the past year, she dedicated time to self-care, undergoing some non-serious surgeries and procedures, including eye surgery, and has humorously emerged as “Reina 2.0.” Despite these procedures, she continued to paint and host art workshops and retreats, successfully completing four very large commissions throughout the year.
