In creating a new crease,a bit or orbicularis oculi muscle is removed to define the crease. Levator aponeurosis to upper 2-3mm tarsus,and muscle dermis to levator aponeurosis reinforces the repair especially in blepharoptosis or drooping, sleepy lids
