3rd Sunday of Epiphany
Luke 4:16-30
Pastor Brad Krause
The challenge Christ presented to his hometown remains as true (and as lost on us) today as ever. If we blindy fail to see our own desperate need for God's undeserved mercy, how then can we claim to value it? If we see ourselves as somehow chosen or deserving of grace by our worldly success, haven't we negated Christ's love and mercy? God grant us the humility to receive his gift and let us overflow with that same mercy here.
