The name of Jesus means ‘Jehovah Saves,’ which implies that you don’t. Receiving Jesus as Christ is receiving Jehovah in action, which means you give up trying to qualify for His life as yours. Which life dies? Your having to think you are your flesh, thoughts, and thoughts about your thoughts. Which life lives? Your soul is attached to Jesus, who has become the life-giving Spirit.
