"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." (Rom 12:12)

1. Are you presently "rejoicing in hope"? What hinders or challenges you from currently rejoicing in hope? What might it sound like for you to rejoice in light of the present distress you are facing? What makes it hard to rejoice right now? What makes it hard to have hope?

2. "be patient in tribulation." What tribulations are you encountering presently? Are you being "patient?" What makes this hard?

3. "be constant in prayer." Are you actively praying daily? What do your prayers consist of? What hinders you from living a prayerful life? How might you grow to be more prayerful?

4. As you become more familiar with the detailed struggles, trials, burdens, difficulties, and tribulations of one another, how are you affected by others' trials? How are you affected as you see believers obeying these commands to rejoice, endure, and pray through the various trials being encountered?

5. How do you desire to have the group encourage you, pray for you, and support you as you strive to grow in these directions?
