Happiness is a natural emotion, but it doesn’t always reflect reality. While God cares about our emotions, He prioritizes righteousness and our relationship with Him over constant happiness. Joy on the other hand, gives us a foundational state to handle every circumstance that comes our way (Philippians 4:4).
