On today's episode my husband Elliot Cheek talks about how we meet in 2005 at the Walmart Portrait Studio - there was a band and cheerleaders on grand opening and Elliot and I looked at each other and wondered what was all the big deal (Little did we know this was God's Big Deal, or should I say big plan) We worked in the portrait studio learning about each other and never knew that God had a plan to bring us together until years later, i moved away and went to Charlotte NC my home town and God kept sending me dreams about my husband all because I kept seeking him about the matter. I want to know who my spouse was when was I going to meet him and everything in between. The Lord finally revealed my spouse to me in 2007 and I was shocked about it. After that I tried to tell him but the Lord had me to wait until 2013 when I took a visit to Greensboro Elliot's hometown where we meet and he asked me a crazy question that day that changed our life as friends into something more ! " He asked what do you think about marriage ? Omg I almost fell out the car because after years of waiting I was not expecting that.

We dated for a year after that until we eloped in 2014. Everyone was shocked and a little disappointed , we believed God that one day we would have a big wedding to celebrate even though finances was not up to part for a wedding we prayed for God to give us the wedding of our dreams. So 2019 by faith we began planning our dream wedding and when 2020 came so did Covid 19 all the while still praying for direction.
