Relational Wisdom Pt. 14

Listen Later

In the final message of our Real Talk series, we turn to the closing verses of 1 Corinthians to explore how spiritual maturity is revealed through how we relate to others. Relational Wisdom isn't about having the right answers—it's about living out the heart of Christ in how we love, correct, and connect.

We cover four marks of relational wisdom:

  1. It stands firm in an unstable world—anchored in truth, not trends.

  2. It always leads with love, even in disagreement.

  3. It honors and refreshes others, creating space for life to flourish.

  4. It builds bridges, not walls—choosing connection over division.

We also challenge ourselves with these three relational principles:

    • Strength without love isn’t wisdom.

    • Honor refreshes the soul—both yours and theirs.

    • You don’t have to agree to be godly in how you treat someone.

And finally, when it comes to correction, relational wisdom requires more than boldness—it requires compassion. Correction should come from a heart that is personally invested, willing to engage, and courageous enough to have the hard conversations. Without love, correction becomes criticism. With love, it becomes restoration.

This sermon is a call to grow beyond surface-level faith and live out a relational wisdom that reflects the heart of Jesus—real, grounded, and life-giving.
