Big Questions: How do both people win in a relationships? How do I show care in my relationships? What is the ultimate goal in my relationships?
Teaching Text: Philippians 2:3-5
3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. 5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:”
What do we want students to know?
Being the right person in Christ helps us be with the right person for Christ.
What do we want students to feel?
Do you have what it takes to become the kind of person who’s not only ready to be in a relationship but also the kind of person that someone else might want to be in a relationship with.
What do we want students to do?
Practice Humility (Proverbs 22:4, Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 29:23), Healthy Curiosity is Caring (Phil 2:4), Aim for Christ (Phil 2:5)
