It’s okay to be angry about it, but don’t sin, it’s okay to process what happened to you and seek wise counsel, but don’t gossip and sow seeds of discord, it’s okay to find a different church family, but don’t bash and belittle the church family you once called home. There is always a way to show honor and give grace because as believers we are called to take the high road. While it is not okay to stay in abusive or toxic environments it’s necessary to forgive.
