RELATIONSHIPS

Listen Later

This episode of Emunah is about RELATIONSHIPS – both

with God and with others. Are you happy with your relationship with God? Should your relationship be strengthened?

Cohosts Tamara and Charisse first look at how we

establish a personal relationship with God and how that relationship overflows into other relationships in our lives and impact how we treat others.

“If you just think in terms of a relationship, people

talk about ‘this person knows me’ …, Charisse said.

She adds that Psalms 139 is the perfect description of

a relationship:

“O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know

my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. …”

Here are a few ways we can include God in our daily

lives to develop a relationship:

1.     We pray to Him.

2.     Read His Word.

3.     Meditate on verses to get to know Him even better.

 Some scriptures used in this episode include Galatians 5:13-16 and 22-23, James 1:5 and 2:8, John 14: 15-17 and 15:16, Isaiah 52:7, Mark 12: 30, Leviticus 19:18

and Romans 13:9.
