Modern relationships are often complicated by expectations, lack of understanding and lack of communications. Whether its a romantic partner, friends, relatives or colleagues; the aforementioned factors play a huge part in influencing a relationship and the subsequent success of it. For centuries, philosophers have emphasised the importance of reducing expectations and understanding more.
