When our organization started it was a community development project in Johannesburg, South Africa, using Sport, soccer specifically, to mobilize the youth. We introduced many other related projects but later realized that we were all over and had no focus. The COMETSA “RELEASE” Concept was developed to refocus our project without cutting out the many original development ideas we had. “RELEASE” is acronym for Recreation, Entertainment (including Music), Leisure, Art (including Culture), Sport, and Environment (including Community).
