Influence is the ability to have an effect on someone or something.
They love to sit at the head table at church dinners, basking in the most prominent positions, preening in the radiance of public flattery, receiving honorary degrees, and getting called ‘Doctor’ and ‘Reverend.’ “Don’t let people do that to you, put you on a pedestal like that…

It’s not going to be that way with you. Whoever wants to be great must become a servant. Whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave.

CULTURE
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.

INFLUENCE CULTURE
What happens when we combine INFLUENCE with CULTURE? WE HELP OUR CULTURE FLOURISH.
And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”

The word “SHALOM” refers to the idea of FLOURISHING. To wish somebody “shalom” is to wish for that person to FLOURISH.
In the Bible, shalom means universal flourishing, wholeness and delight—a rich state of affairs in which natural needs are satisfied and natural gifts fruitfully employed, a state of affairs that inspires joyful wonder as its Creator and Savior opens doors and welcomes the creatures in whom he delights. Shalom, in other words, is the way things ought to be.
